FAQs

We've tried to answer all the obvious questions below. If you have any questions that aren't answered here, contact one of us individually or email sarahandlewis25@gmail.com

What is the dress code?
Summer wedding: suits, dresses or something else that matches that level of smartness.

Where is it?
The Thatch Barn - see our Venue page for all the info.

Where can I park?
There are 40 spaces onsite and overnight parking is permitted. Again, more info on the venue page!

What about dinner? Will there be a vegetarian/vegan option?
Get a load of this: there’s ONLY vegetarian and vegan options. We've booked an amazing caterer and will be in touch with day guests closer to the time to confirm the menu. Let us know any other restrictions on the RSVP please.

When should evening guests arrive?
7.00pm!

Is there any evening entertainment?
Yes! We want the evening to be just as fun (if not more so) than the day. We will have a disco, drinks, cake and hot evening food! Put your song requests in on the RSVP.

When can I leave?
11.30pm

How do I get home?
Probably by taxi. It is essential that you book a taxi in advance.
The venue recommends a local taxi firm: Steve’s taxis 01480 471111/413222
You can also get service from most Cambridge taxi firms: Veezu (FKA Panther taxis, who have phone number and an app) have historically been reliable but have been a bit more hit and miss recently. There are also cab firms in St. Neots and Cambourne, and a certain San Francisco ride sharing app has some coverage in the area.

Do you have a gift registry?

No! Your presence is the greatest present we could ask for, but if you want to sweeten the deal we would especially appreciate a contribution to our future adventures.

When do I need to RSVP by?
The earlier the better, but by the end of April at the latest, please.

Wtf is going on with the invite?
Good question! We wanted our invite to be a CD because we love music, and used to make mix CDs for each other. More specifically, the artwork is a homage to one of our favourite genres: the country music duet album. In the 60s and 70s, anyone who was anyone in country did a duet album complete with cheesy artwork. We’ve posted some examples below. While you’re here, we want to shout out Rafe Abrook for his photography skills (you’ll see him on the day!), Lewis’ brother and best man Sam for his design skills and his Dad Dave along with the staff at Azo Print for making our vision a reality.
